Located in Jonesboro, Arkansas and serving nine regional counties, the Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center (NEACAC) is part of a nationwide program that brings together a multidisciplinary team of Law Enforcement, Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division workers, Department of Child and Family Services workers, Prosecutors, Specialized Medical and Trauma-Focused Mental Health Professionals to respond in a coordinated response to children with claims of sexual abuse.  The NEACAC houses a child-friendly environment for video-recording of forensic interviews with Child First trained forensic interviewers with the goal of minimizing the number of times the child is interviewed and reduce the chances of re-traumatizing the child victim.

An onsite specialized medical pediatric sexual assault exam is available free of charge to every child victim of sexual abuse.  Every child is also referred to a Trauma-Focused trained therapists for age appropriate treatment.

The NEACAC is a member of the Children's Advocacy Centers of Arkansas (www.caca.org) and the National Children's Alliance (www.nca-online.org) and also a part of Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Centers (www.nationalcac.org).

our mission:

"where healing begins"

Its truly amazing to know 489 children affected by abuse were able to be helped through the Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center in 2014 alone and yet humbling is the number of children who we have yet to reach.  I am so proud to be a part of such a great organization and to work with our communities to continue to create a safer Northeast Arkansas for our children.

Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
